L2l Ledscreens has a very wide range of standard indoor and outdoor LED Screens. However, it often happens that an application for an LED Screen cannot be filled in with a standard product.
Special Led Screens! These are the kind of challenges our engineers like to take on. This often involves the use of special Led modules in combination with a customized construction frame. These construction frames for LED screens are not only designed in-house but also manufactured and welded in our own workshop.

The high attention value of a standard LED screen is further increased with a custom-made LED display. A custom LED screen is thus a "conversation piece" in public spaces that among the public "on top of mind" will remain.
What is possible? A lot! Almost everything, actually. An outdoor LED screen or indoor LED screen. The combination of cleverly designed structures and frames, designed and manufactured in-house, with a wide range of different LED panels offers enormous design freedom. It's understandable that creating a custom LED display requires more work and attention than a standard screen. The lead time from design to construction can therefore take a little longer, depending on the size, the requirements, and the specific situation.
"Custom work" sounds vague. So here’s a concrete list of what we build most often. Not every type, because if we listed them all, we could go on for quite a while. But this is the basics.
A staircase that is the screen itself. Treads, risers, or the entire construction feature LED modules with a protective acrylic layer. Well-known examples: Hommerson on the Spui and the escalator at MediaMarkt Rotterdam.
A fluid curve around a column, behind a reception desk, or along a curved wall. We use flexible or custom-shaped modules on a custom-welded frame.
A surround screen in dome or pillar shape, or a Beautiful cylindrical screen. Suitable for entrances, museum displays and eye-catchers in shopping centers. We determine the diameter and pixel pitch together based on viewing distance.
For round columns, curved walls, or ceilings where rigid modules do not work. Not everything that is flexible stays attractive in the long run; we advise which type suits your application.

For large facades where surface area outweighs resolution. The view from the inside out is retained, energy consumption is low, and no heavy structure is required.

Custom work sounds complicated. It’s actually not that bad, as long as the process runs smoothly. We handle everything under one roof, which reduces the need for coordination, minimizes errors, and saves time.
1. Intake and site visit We’ll stop by or invite you to our showroom in Capelle aan den IJssel. We’ll discuss your needs, measure the location, and assess the viewing distance, lighting conditions, and cabling.
2. 3D Design and Engineering Our engineers are creating a construction drawing. You see in advance what the screen will look like and What pixel pitch fits? at the viewing distance. Only when you agree will we go into the workshop.
3. In-house workshop production Construct frames are welded in-house, and LED modules are assembled and tested by our technicians. No intermediaries, no waiting for third parties.
4. On-site installation Our own technicians install the screen, connect the wiring, and calibrate the display. Including a content system, if desired.
5. Service and Maintenance With our service contract, you get up to 10 years of warranty. A defective module will be replaced quickly. No hassle with foreign suppliers or unknown technicians.

It's impossible to say. Certainly not! There are round but also flexible LED modules that can be used to build complex and different LED screens.
That depends on the complexity. We often deliver standard custom work within 4 to 8 weeks. For large or very complex constructions (think LED dome or integration into new construction), expect 10 to 16 weeks from design approval. We are transparent about the schedule from the very first conversation.
LED modules have a lifespan of 80,000 to 100,000 operating hours. With our service contract, performance remains optimal, and we replace modules as needed.
Often, yes, provided the existing modules and controls are still up-to-date. We visit to assess whether building onto it is technically feasible, or if replacement would be smarter in the long run.
For visible facade advertising, an environmental permit is required in most municipalities. We assist with preparing the application and provide technical drawings.
A video wall You build from standard rectangular modules in a flat square or rectangle. Custom LED deviates from that in shape, mounting method, or integration — anything that cannot be built from standard modules.
With flexible LED modules or specially shaped panels on a welded construction frame. The frame is bent to the correct radius in our workshop, and the modules are manually mounted and calibrated onto it.
